1st International Day of Sign Language 23rd September 2018

The United Nation has declared 23 September 2018, as the International Day of Sign Languages (#IDSL) and first #IDSL will be celebrated today as part of the International Week of the Deaf which will take place on 24-30 September.. The theme for this year is “With Sign Language, Everyone is Included!

A few days ago, I had the wonderful experience when I visited the Haryana Welfare Society for Hearing and Speech Impairment, Gurugram Center. In the presence of Dr. Sharanjeet Kaur (Vice President and Chairperson), Km. Pallavi Kulshrestha kindly spent time to show us the entire center, reviewing every activities and projects. An awesome feeling – an experience of lifetime, opening a new dimension in my life.

We always emphasize in the Academy of Happiness that – whenever you communicate – do it ‘ByHeart’, and at times we felt that words are not at all required, only emotions and the right intentions is needed to communicate your message to others. That is when we communicate Heart to Heart. Our intent – our feelings can be felt and our gestures, our actions, our expressions becomes the medium of communication… silent but powerful way to express..

This is the purpose of all of us life – why not? Isn’t it.?

Think – Feel – Act: Our theory of Thinking first, Feeling it & then followed by Actions is established once again on that day. The joy that was experienced was incredible – it was unmatched and unlimited. This is the purpose of all of us life – why not?

Let’s decide again today that ‘we will always #BeHappyFirst and will make others happy too’. #SpreadHappinessAlways

I will also make an appeal – if possible, learn sign language and volunteerat the Speech and Hearing Impairment centers of the Haryana Welfare Society for Hearing and Speech Impairment, they have presence in 7 different locations in Haryana.volunteer.
